Sathu mavu

 Ingredients: Finger millet  1/2cup Barley   1/2cup Whole wheat   1/2cup Boiled rice  1/2cup Black channa 1/2cup Green gram 1/2cup Roasted gram 1/2cup Horse gram 100grm Blalck urad dal 1/2cup Soya 1/2cup Samba kodhumai 1/2cup White corn 1/2cup Yellow corn 1/2cup Roasted channa dal 1/2cup Sago 100grm Dry ginger 15grm Green peas dried 50grms White seasome 50grm Black seasome 50grm Little millet 50grm White channa dhall 100grm Pista 100grm Cashews 100grm Elaichi 15pods Peanuts Almonds   1/2cup METHOD: Dry roast everything and grind it in mill or mixi. Take 2 spoons of of kanji powder and mix it with water and keep it in gas stove make a kanji. Add milk and jaggrey and drink. Or put salt and buttermilk and drink

Apple puree first food for baby

 Ingredients: Apple Water Method:    Wash and peel the apple put it in cooker make 4 to 5 whistle and smash it give to baby.    Same method for carrot, sweet potato, potato.

Kanchi for 4 months old

 Ingredients: Ragi water salt or jagerry or karupatti Method Soak washed ragi 2 spoons in water overnight Next morning grind it and filter it now u get ragi milk Keep it gas stove and make kanchi put little salt or jagerry or karupatti.

kanji for 3 months old

Ingredients:         Odaichakadalai(potukadalai)    - 1/4 cup Puzhungalarisi(boiled rice)        -1cup Yelaikai                                       - 2 Method: Dry roast washed puzhungalarisi in a pan and let it cool completely then grind with potukadalai and yelaikai. And take small amount of kanchi powder add little water and keep it in gas stove make kanchi.  You can serve with jagerry, if you want add salt you can avoid yelaikai.

Food started

 We gave nan pro for first two days because c section dr advised this. After we stopped non pro. 1 to 3 months only mother feed and kashayam no water. We gave harish and mithresh last week of 3rd month Last week itself nan pro 1 daily, 1 time at night. Then started 2 time and when ever he needs. Then start apple puree at 5th month 29th nov 2017 for harish. 22nd of feb 2021 for mithresh. Apple for 1 week same time daily like morning 10 means daily 10am. one week later Carrot puree next week. 6th month after anaprasanam gave parupu sadham. only 1 r two sppons fully mashed. 6th month only puzhungalarisi kanji slowly started paruppu sadhan with boiled carrot or potato. Started curd rice and idly. 10th month itself started  chapathi and all adult dishes Hill banana 1 or 2. Sweet potato Potato soup8th month or in between started wheet kanji and sathu mavvu kanji. Mother feed food

 Garlic is the best for milk flow. Put 1 or 2 whole garlic with peel the skin boil in 1/2 liter milk and reduced into half drink this everyday. Rusk and milk. Drink more milk. Drink water before feed everytime. it gives u flow very well. after and before breast feed clean the nipple with wet cloth. after and before breast feed clean babies mouth with clean baby cloth.

Fist name (munishwaran name for boys muniyamma for girls) Second name sharma name. For example we keep our boys Sri chakara piriyan and Sri guha piriyan. Third name school name common name. For example we keep our boys Harish krishna and Mithresh krishna. Thotil function: Decorate the thotil with real or artifical flowers and ballons Make paruppu sundal for thotil. make small botis of sundal and kept in babies thotil. Keep arathi for thotil. Homam : For homam suthu annam(rice) and one prasadham like lemon rice. For harish and mithresh naming cermony we ordered 75 breakfast, 150 lunch, 150 snacks. Check babies cry a lot

 Ant bites or mosqitos bites:      Check full body of the baby make sure if there is any bite apply coconut oil baby cream on that place. Stomach ache: Touch the baby stomach it will be gas problem or any stomach upset give woodwards with hot water. If babies still give give gas relief medicine prescibed by doctor. Oram checking: Touch babies near ears or ears or backside of ears if babies cries loud its oram. Reddish : If babies cries loud and loud baby become Reddish and sometime they cant able to breath that time close babies both ears with your hand it will be back to normal.

For baby dishti

 Arathi:      Before namakaranam make arathi and keep near mother and baby legs. First take arathi round then keep. Next day morning it will be put in the road. After Namakaranam:  Keep ready arathi for thotil.  one white thread apply turmeric and put that into waist of baby for 3months. vipudhi also apply after namakaranam. Dhuli: Near dhuli keep brum stick or slipper. Dont keep baby at night around 11.30 tp 1pm in dhooli r thotil. If baby cries lot not eating or without reason: Make arathi put some rice vethalai kalpuram keep it in near babies bed for 3 sunday and put that at 12pm in road after that babies will be good. Make one plate arathi small quantity of rice, karithundu keep that near bed (leg) sharply at 12pm sunday and throw by 6pm.  After birth mother feeding is very good for immune power. Mother milk only 2 hrs once not when ever the babies cry. Make sure you get enough milk. Only mother milk for first 3 months. No water if you give morning marundhu u give water 1spoon. Apply coconut oil for baby stomach near thoppul for thoppul irritation.. For bath: Babies can take bath reqularly.  Massage and bath are really very important for babies growth. Massage your baby with coconut oil it gives shine. No parrupu(dhall) Kathirikai Beans Carrot Potato Raw banana Manjal poosinikai Vellai poosinikai Sweet potato Avaraikai Ingredients: Vegetables Tamarind Salt  Manjal Red chilli Coconut Sambar powder Kadalai paruppu Mali(dhaniya) Kadugu Coconut oil For fry: Kadalai parupu Red chiili Coconut Dhaniya With oil Grind and make paste Method:  Boil all the vegetables. Add puli water boil it and add sambar powder once it started boiling and add fried paste and switch off the gas stove. Kali is ready now.

 KALI: Ingeredents: Rice 1 cup Velam 1.1/2 cup velam water 3cup cashew  ghee cardomon Arudhra only kali neivaidhiyam not kootu. Method:      Rice 1cup nala red ah varuthukanum. Ara vechi mixi la araichi konjam 1 glass water la andha powder mix pannanum, apparam vanalila velam water vitu adha vedikati next indha rice kalavai la potu mix pannanum. Ghee vitu cashew thalikanum, cardomon potu yearakanam. Kali ready now.
