Namakaranam celebration we did harish and mithesh

 

  1. Kaparisi (its made from red rice and jagerry) making in babies fathers house. Usually athai will do if not patti will do.
  2. First athai kappu funtion, athai will buy silver or gold kappu for babies hands and leg kappu silver, new dress.
  3. Homam.
  4. First athai kappu funtion then only homam.
  5. Fist name (munishwaran name for boys muniyamma for girls)
  6. Second name sharma name. For example we keep our boys Sri chakara piriyan and Sri guha piriyan.
  7. Third name school name common name. For example we keep our boys Harish krishna and Mithresh krishna.
Thotil function:
  1. Decorate the thotil with real or artifical flowers and ballons
  2. Make paruppu sundal for thotil. make small botis of sundal and kept in babies thotil.
  3. Keep arathi for thotil.
Homam : For homam suthu annam(rice) and one prasadham like lemon rice.

For harish and mithresh naming cermony we ordered 75 breakfast, 150 lunch, 150 snacks.

Breakfast: Pongal, Idly, Vada, sambar, chutney one sweet and coffee.
Lunch: Sweet Milk payasam, rice, sambar, more kolambu, rasam, more, poriyal,kutu, appalam, vadai, pachadi pulli sadham.
Snacks: Samosa sauce, coffee, sweet amd sundal

Kaju katli

Ingredients: Cashews - 1cup Sugar - 3/4 cup Water - 1/4 cup Ghee - 2spoon Method: Transfer the cashew into mixi jar and pulse it to make a powder. The cashew powder will be slightly grainy but not fine like flour. Add sugar and water into pan make a syrup it comes one string consistency. Add cashew powder and mix it well Ensure there are no lumps. Keep stirring the kaju katli mixture consistently and cook on a low to medium heat until the mixture begins to thicken. Add the ghee . Cook and mix continuously with heat. The miture should pull away from the sides of the pan and form a loose ball. Add ghee and mix well for a few seconds, then remove pan from heat. Place the batter in sheet are clean work surface. Roll the dough and cut into pieces.
